Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon

Emmie Brown of Southwestern Consulting will be the keynote speaker at the monthly meeting of the White House Chamber of Commerce on February 21st.
 
Emmie Brown is a Senior Partner and Founding Member of Southwestern Consulting. Southwestern Consulting, based in Nashville, is the fastest growing sales consulting and coaching company in the world, with offices in Nashville, London, and Singapore. They are a division of the oldest company in the Direct Selling Association, The Southwestern Company, which started in 1855. Since 2008, Southwestern Consulting has built sales systems for Fortune 100 companies and for small businesses, and they have coached 8,000 clients one-on-one to reach peak performance in their careers and in their personal lives.
 
Ms. Brown is a resident of Nashville. Prior to moving to Nashville, she spent 4 years on tour as a speaker with ?Success Starts Now,? a professional sales training conference that was held in 42 different cities around the country. She has trained over 750 sales organizations across the world. Currently, she is an Executive Coach, Business Consultant, and Speaker, while helping to run Southwestern Consulting.  She is the author of an upcoming book on sales management.
 
While only a handful of colleges across the United States offer a sales degree, most people find themselves needing sales skills to some capacity to be successful in their careers. Ms. Brown graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina with a psychology degree. On February 21^st, she will share sales psychology that explains why most people?s communication style allows them to connect with only about 25% of their prospects and, consequently, causes them to miss out on a significant amount of potential revenue. She will also tackle some of the reasons well-liked professionals don?t get referrals and provide sales techniques that will solve these challenges.
