December Luncheon
Middle Tennessee Youth Ballet will perform excerpts from act 2 of the beloved classic ballet, the Nutcracker. The Nutcracker, originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, was first performed in St Petersburg, Russia on December 18, 1892. For almost 125 years, this ballet has been a holiday favorite and a tradition for families around the world.
