Smart Growth for the 21st Century - National Association of Realtors
The Robertson County Association of Realtors and the White House Area Chamber of Commerce have partnered together to bring a National Association of Realtors workshop: Smart Growth for the 21st Century to their members and community leaders.
A community functions best with homes for all incomes, jobs, schools, open space, desirable destinations and services, and different ways to reach them—by foot, bicycle, public transit, or automobile.
Smart growth is about recognizing and understanding the various facets of a vibrant community and how to achieve and maintain a balance among them.
Smart growth focuses on the existing assets of the community, the long-run implications of various development patterns, and their fiscal impacts. The bottom line: some ways of growing are more sustainable than others.
We encourage anyone who is a stakeholder in our community to join us for this informative workshop designed to educate, inform and implement strategies on smart growth. This free workshop is perfect for elected officials, Realtors®, planners, developers, planning & zoning board members, business leaders and residents of Robertson and Sumner County.
There is no cost to attend this informative workshop but registration is required due to seating limitations. We encourage anyone with an interest in the growth and development of our communities to attend this workshop.
