Job Title: General Manager
In this role, you'll be positioned at the heart of the action—balancing administrative tasks with high-energy customer interactions. Your leadership not only drives daily operational success but also shapes the overall brand experience.

Overview:
As the General Manager at Whit's Frozen Custard, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of a fast-paced, quality-focused frozen custard shop. You will harmonize a high standard of customer service with operational efficiency, ensuring each guest leaves with a memorable experience. Being part of a family-owned business that prides itself on fresh, made-on-site custard and a fun workplace, you’ll be expected to blend leadership, precision, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
 Operational Leadership:
o Oversee the daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
o Ensure accurate inventory counts and manage product stock levels to prevent shortages or overages.
o Monitor food safety, hygiene standards, and ensure compliance with all local and state health regulations.

 Customer Experience Management:
o Champion a guest-first culture by ensuring all team members provide prompt, friendly, and quality service.
o Address customer feedback and resolve any complaints or issues swiftly, turning challenges into opportunities for excellence.
o Maintain an inviting, clean, and safe store environment that reflects the quality of our freshly made products.

 Team Leadership and Development:
o Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members, setting them up for success.
o Schedule shifts effectively to ensure optimal staffing during peak times
o Mentor and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative environment where feedback is embraced and professional growth is nurtured.

 Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence:
o Uphold the strict quality standards set by ownership, ensuring every product meets the Whit's Frozen Custard brand promise.
o Supervise daily production and presentation of frozen custard, including the creation of specialty flavors and toppings.
o Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to sustain operational consistency and excellence.

 Financial and Administrative Oversight:
o Manage store budgets, control costs, and evaluate the financial performance of the location.
o Prepare operational reports, analyze profitability, and strategize improvements where necessary.
o Ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks related to personnel, inventory, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
 Education:
o High School Diploma or GED is required; a college degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
 Experience:
o At least 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment.
o A minimum of 1 year of management experience in the food service or quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.
o Prior experience in food service management, particularly in environments that emphasize quality and customer service, is highly desired.
 Skills:
o Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
o Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
o A keen eye for detail to ensure product quality, health department standards, and overall operational excellence.
o Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by the business operation.
