Remote Sales Health and Medicare Insurance Agent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Remote Sales Agent to join our team. This role is focused exclusively on sales, helping individuals, Medicare recipients and families find the right health insurance solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate is self-disciplined, persuasive, and comfortable working independently in a commission-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work inbound and/or outbound sales leads provided by the agency
  • Generate new business by creating and developing your own leads
  • Attend networking groups, community events, and local functions with the agency and alone to build a referral pipeline
  • Consistently follow up with new and existing leads to drive conversions
  • Conduct sales calls with prospective clients
  • Educate clients on available health insurance products and coverage options
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate plans
  • Guide clients through the enrollment process from start to finish
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets with Medicare and Under 65 health policies
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
  • Stay up to date on product offerings, carrier guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Expectation to Increase hours during the Open enrollment period (Oct 1-Dec 15)
Qualifications:
  • Active Health Insurance License (preferred)
  • Proven sales experience, specifically working and converting sales leads (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads through networking, referrals, and outreach
  • Experience with inbound/outbound lead follow-up and pipeline management (required)
  • Experience working leads (required)
  • Strong communication and sale closing skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of discipline and accountability
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use CRM systems
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
Compensation:
  • Minimal Base pay depending on experience
  • Minimum 20 hours weekly except during the open enrollment period
  • Commission-based pay (details discussed during interview)
